I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Dynatrace (Philadelphia, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
The entire process was friendly, timely and well thought out. You first meet with the recruiter, then hiring manager, his boss, then you provide a presentation to a panel of 6 people.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dynatrace (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Multiple Zoom interviews and then a PPT web demo showcasing the Dynatrace solution to a team of five Dynatrace senior employees. All interviewers were nice prior to the final demo. For the final PPT demo, it was said there would be no "trick" questions". I did a boatload of prep and had a smart looking deck to showcase. As I was not a Dynatrace employee with no formal training on their offerings, I felt I was well prepared. That said, I was asked multiple trick questions that were extremely product specific. I bobbed and weaved best I could but, despite my years of sales experience and ability to pivot, my presentation fell short. Hostile is a strong word, but I left the meeting feeling as though it was not a fair fight. I did not receive an offer of employment.

Standard interview questions geared towards a Sr. Sales Exec.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dynatrace (Persön)
Interview
Interviewed with HR , who seemed to be ok. Also interviewed with solution engineers and sales management. Waste of time. The turnover is very high in this particular region, and sales reps and sales management are like a revolving door. Also, quite one sided in interview process, the managers require several presentations on no notice , and all your communication is through HR. The interview process tells a lot about managers and what they are like to work for.
