Interviewers try to get to know you better, asked about some past achievements, which area of work you have experience etc. but HR is a nightmare. Doesn't get back to you, will just leave you in the air and ghost. -1000/10 experience
I applied through other source. I interviewed at EY
Interview
Got ghosted. Extremely disheartening experience. HR is really soul-less in how they manage applicants. Tried to follow up but received 0 response. One would assume a big4 firm has better HR processes.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EY in May 2022
Interview
3 rounds with different team members
Nothing very technical; very much focused on culture fit and behavioral questions. They were very friendly and shared more about their team, what kinds of work they handle, why they were hiring etc.
My issue is with how one of my interviewers violated confidentiality by reaching out to my current employer to ask what it was like to work with me, and I was asked about it the next day by my current employer.
They also kept trying to schedule and move interviews at the very last minute ("Can you meet tomorrow at x am?") which showed little respect for my time and the fact that I was working. In the end, they canceled my last interview as well after having asked for more time due to vague reasons ("We're dealing with an emergency, we're still interviewing other candidates").

Question 1
General questions on background and behavioral questions like how I handle multiple competing deadlines.
