      Senior Software Development Engineer Interview

      Feb 20, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EY (Bengaluru) in Jan 2020

      Interview

First thing to know is, if you go for a walk-in be prepared to wait for long. Coming to technical interview, it was moderately easy and very interactive. Cleared the first round of 3 and next was manager's interview. It was very basic, more like "getting to know you" kind of thing. The manager asked me if I had worked on ReactJS, to which I said no but I am willing to learn. After talking a bit more he asked me to leave for the day and that was it. Nowhere in my resume I had mentioned I had worked on ReactJS. Also the technical interview was on Javascript and Angular 2+. in the end I was left disappointed that with the process because they need to be more clear on what they want and call in only those candidates that fit their requirement.
