I called a bunch and was hired. I had to annoy the store director by calling him in order to get my confirmation. Overall, it was a very short and simple interview process. Very informal.

Interview
The interview wasn't really that bad, my interviewer was super friendly and actually wanted to get to know me and my interests. I never felt like I was pressured into doing a job that I didn't apply for or want. The guy was a little scattered and awkward at times, but really I think he was just having an off day. Interview went by super fast and I had the job within a week.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Eagle America (Mexico, MO) in Sep 2012

Worked for head of dept previously. Looked me up. Offered job. Starting family. Spouse wanted to move. Worked for guy before and liked him. Had tapped out max salary and had to move to different dept. and drive 50 mins to work, but at least spouse happy. Gave me worst store they had and I fixed everything.
