I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Budapest) in Aug 2016
Interview
First CV screening by HR, than a half an hour phone interview with a HR where they share information about the company and ask questions about your interests and career. Than 3 weeks later an interview with the hiring manager and a different HR person. Questions about the CV and standard behavioural questions, Lominger style. Then a personal interview again 3 weeks later with the hiring manager on the phone, an HR manager and an HR partner in person. Where I am told that there are two more rounds remaining. So altogether 5 rounds! Which seems pretty unreasonable for the lowest level of manager position.
HR was so unresponsive during the whole interview process, never answered any of my mails.
The thing what I really sorry is that this application has took a bit more than 7 weeks from my life,. and I was eliminated not even in the very last round. I guess I could be grateful that it did not took an additional month or two to get here.
They move extremely slow.

I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Eaton (Pittsburgh, PA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Eaton uses Lominger style interviews. I had three interviews, two panel and one with the HR manager. Overall the experience was good, however; there is a lot of waiting with a lot of handoffs in HR to schedule interviews. During the interviewing process the hiring manager said they were very eager to fill the position quickly, but then it seemed that HR sat on it for weeks with no movement. Ultimately the position was eliminated. A lot of time was wasted by everyone involved, including executive management.
