I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ecolab in Mar 2021
Interview
A corporate recruiter from Ecolab (Nalco division) reached out to me via LinkedIn. While I was not actively looking for a new opportunity, it was an interesting role so I decided to speak to him. I went through multiple interviews and based on feedback I received I did well. Then nothing. I contacted the recruiter and he said ‘Oh, didn’t I tell you? The rec is frozen. We expect that to change soon so I’ll let you know.” Another month went by and no response. I reached out again and the email bounced. He had moved to another company. I reached out to the hiring VP and she didn’t have the courtesy to respond. They contacted me then after wasting many hours of my time, ghosted me. Very bad form. Highly disappointing.
