I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2011
Interview
First, if you are chosen for the interview process they will contact you and set up your first interview. This will be the first interview out of three. The interview process is highly behavioral interviewing. The first interview is you with one Edward Jones employee who ask you a series of behavioral questions. Such as " Tell us about a time you had to work with a team to accomplish a goal and something didn't go as planned....What role did you play in the group and what was the final outcome of your teams goal"? The key to answer these correctly isn't to always have a perfect answer but be specific. Give them a specific example of a group project, whatever problem your group encountered, the role you played in the group to adjust to whatever the problem was, and finally what was the final outcome of the group goal? Was is successful? If you make the cut you will be chosen for the second interview. The 2nd interview is very much the same and also consists of almost all behavior questions. This interview is with two Edward Jones employees. They will ask you a series of questions and the entire interview might be roughly 45 minutes. From my experience the 2nd round is a more relaxed environment and I'm sure they are trying to get a better bearing on who you really are as an individual and if you would be a good fit for the company and if you could fit in with their current employees. Finally if you make the cut you are invited to the third interview and this is just a formal meeting saying you were chosen for the internship and that will conclude the interview process.

Question 1
Think of a time you were working in a group project and there was that one person who wanted to control everything and there might have also been individuals that wanted to get a free ride and do nothing. Did this create conflict within the group? Did you do anything to move the project along or suggest a solution? What was the outcome of your decision?
