Pros: Recruiter was nice, and I enjoyed talking to them! Cons: I was asked a lot about my competencies with technologies listed as 'nice to have' on the position, and feel I was email auto-rejected afterwards based upon my honest responses. In my opinion, they would have benefited from listing these technologies as required. Based on the posted salary for the position, and the benefits I found on Glassdoor and asked about which the interviewer said do *not* reflect current benefits given to software engineers at the senior level, the comp package is more on par for what I would expect from a very small company in the area, even during uncertain economic times. Recruiter mainly gushed about how much they liked working for Edwards and couldn't give a real con when I asked for a pro and con of working there, which was a bit of a red flag for me given the company culture warnings I read on Glassdoor. Overall, I walked away feeling like they were looking for someone at higher than senior dev levels of experience to come in for a passion project at lower than senior dev levels of compensation, which was disappointing for me.
