I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Egen
Interview
I was reached out by one of the recruiters of Egen regarding an open Data Engineer position. The recruiter asked me to take the initial screening test ASAP and literally told me that he can get the interview next week. I have taken the test in July. After that he told me that I got qualified for the interview round and then he ghosted me for a complete 1 and a half month. In September he gave me interview slot after I tried to reach out to the recruiter everyday. The interview went really well. They said that they will release the offer letter and its been 2 months there's no update from them. I just want to tell one thing, Companies like Egen do not care about other people's time and efforts. They just conduct interviews and try to keep the candidates in hand in case they need any requirement in the future. A strong message from me to all the OPT/STEM OPT candidates would be "Please do not waste your time on this company. There are multiple other companies who are decent enough to follow corporate ethics and inform the candidates of their decision or at least respond to their calls/emails and not ghost them completely after giving false hopes.
