Applied in November, was asked to do a writing sample a week or so later. Submitted writing sample first week of December. Didn't hear back until January when they offered me an interview during the first part of February. They asked me to prepare a powerpoint presentation on a medical article and submit the slides by the end of January. Interview was all day. Lunch was provided. I interviewed with 6-7 different people and gave my presentation at the end. Got hired 2 weeks later.
