I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Enercon Services in Sep 2015
Interview
Met a staff engineer at a my university career fair. We talked for a fair amount of time, and it felt very much like a "pre-interview" interview, where he asked about how I heard about them, what I was interested in, some parts about my resume, and a little bit of small talk to judge personality. I felt comfortable through out the conversation and was excited about the interview the next day. The next day was a much more formal interview on campus, where I met with a very senior level mechanical engineer/manager. It was hard to tell if he was simply tired of interviewing or not a very personable guy, but the conversation was a completely different tone compared to the conversation the day before. Purely situational interview problems. Started out the interview with extremely negative questions (worst assets, times that you failed, ethical dilemmas), and then moved into harder questions about leadership and management. I thought the questions were poorly chosen for an entry level mechanical engineer (very little about technical competence), and would be better fit for a mid-level management position.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Enercon Services in Jul 2025
Interview
One phone screen, then a panel interview with 4 engineers. After I was given an offer, the recruiter basically refused to negotiate on salary or PTO benefits at all, so I declined the offer.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Enercon Services in Jan 2025
Interview
Wasted my time. Selected me for the job, then changed there mind a week later due to "office availability".
Interview went well with regular questions.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Enercon Services (Kennesaw, GA)
Interview
Two stages of the interview process, with the first being technical-based, and if they decide to proceed, it will be a behavior interview. you are expected to explain how you would solve a problem they present to you at the time of the interview. I personally knew how to solve and explain all the technical questions and problems with the exception of two problems, but I was very straightforward and honest about my not knowing, and I walked through how I would break down the problem.
