I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2015
Interview
I first applied online, then heard in a few days that they were interested in a phone interview. The phone interviewer didn't ask too many difficult questions, mostly took my questions. A few days after the phone interview, they asked me to schedule a skills assessment. About a week or so after that, I was asked to schedule a trip to Madison for an onsite interview. The day consisted of talking to lots of current employees about the position and company, getting a tour of the campus (which was awesome), a few one-on-one interviews, and a final skills assessment.

Interview
The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Interview
Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
