I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FDM Group (Sydney) in Oct 2022
Interview
The FDM interview will contain a mixture of competency and strength-based questions, designed to get to know you better. Interviewers will ask you a range of questions, relating to your background, achievements, hobbies and passion for technology.
FDM interviewers use these questions to find out more about your strengths and how you have applied certain skills in different scenarios. These are usually examples from work or university, but if you have any other examples such as from volunteering or extra-curricular activities then that’s also worth discussing.
There was CV screening followed by assessment centre and then interviews. It was a decent experience overall. People were professional and the office is at a convenient location. Some technical questions asked along with behavioral questions
I applied online. I interviewed at FDM Group (London, England)
Interview
After applying online:
In summary of the below I was accepted onto the consultant program after several interviews, but after being accepted onto the program I was then ghosted.
- I went through a couple of screening calls. These were fairly straight forward and just to get a general feel for my experience and suitability for the role.
- This was followed by three interviews.
- The first two took place on the same day. These were medium difficulty and whilst not hard, there were a few technical questions that would need to have some knowledge about project management processes to answer correctly.
- The Final interview was a few days later and involved preparing and giving a presentation.
I was then accepted into a consultancy program and received a congratulations and acceptance call and email.
Unfortunately this was the last I heard from FDM and I was effectively ghosted. I emailed my direct recruiter, and then a different recruiter. I left a phone message and made contact via the website contact form, but never heard anything further.
I lost about 4 weeks job searching assuming I would be starting a new role. This has never happened to me before and seems unprofessional (to say the least). My experience with FDM was all positive until I was offered a role, but unfortunately I would not recommend applying for any role with FDM.
