I got referred for a presales position at Factorial. The first thing which is really bizarre is that I only got an email stating that I was being considered for a position and that someone would be in touch if there was a fit; but I never applied via a tracked link where I could leave my details and resume.
After 1-2 weeks of not hearing anything, I reached out to my contact (who did everything they could to help, but were quite busy). After much asking, they gave me the name of someone in that team I could reach out to - not a recruiter.
I ended having to reach out myself to someone, otherwise nothing was going to happen. After some days, I finally manage to speak to this person - we have a brief 30 minute interview over Google Meet, standard questions about my experience and my desire to join, nothing out of the ordinary.
They tell me the next step would be to have some kind of role play and demo/presentation and that they will send me materials to prep and more details via email the same day.
I don't receive anything, so I send them a LinkedIn message (where we had been speaking). No answer. I send them an email a few days later, and another one a week later. Never got an answer.
I never got around to discussing salary because again, I was never officially contacted by recruitment or the hiring manager, so I can't confirm if the bands they have on their website are true. If that is the case, the roles are not well paid anyway. They do want you to go to the office 4 days a week (make it make sense... just say you want people in the office, don't call this hybrid because you're forcing people to be there 80% of the time for a job that doesn't require that). If you add this to the way they handle interviews/referrals it says an awful lot about the company. What a jokeeeeeeee
