Over the phone but very nice and informative . Discussed the duties and responsibilities of the job. She said literally anyone could do well with this job, I came here to look up reviews because I’ve never done this line of work before and in getting licensed through them and they can terminate my license if I video not to work fort them anymore
- What would you like to know

Way too much MLM type language. Ex. “Be your own boss”, “Uncapped income”. They called me and presented as if I were interviewing for a position via Zoom, and told me to dress business casual. It was a zoom webinar showcasing “Success stories”. Waste of time and makeup.
- They didn’t ask me anything it was a webinar

It's pretty easy to apply and be called. They just want to make sure you are dedicated and committed to the process. If you have competing priorities, then this may not be the fit for you.
- What makes you a good fit for this company and this position?

There is no real interview. The woman with whom I spoke was scripted and plastic. She "fast-tracked" me into their Telegram Group, signup process and training sessions. They do offer training, which is nice, but the whole buying of the leads is a racket. All reviews suggest this is their scam. I am uncertain if they even sell insurance products since the focus seems to be getting more Agents into their MLM, so they can buy old leads that don't seem to pan out for most. There are many companies that focus on this type of model. At the end of the day, I deleted my Telegram account and stopped engaging. I would take the Positive reviews on this site with caution. Every company I have worked for has the marketing and HR teams go in to inflate the negative reviews to make it seem as though the company is much better than it is. I would steer clear of this one. To end on a positive note, the two people I interacted with were quite pleasant and they do make one feel "welcomed" in the Telegram group. Go with your heart on this one friends. Run, do not walk to the nearest EXIT. :-)
- This isn't a true interview process, as they want you in. If was more desirable, it would be more difficult to get in.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Family First Life (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2023
I was solicited through text, indicated interest ("no cold calls") then received a phone call interview to start right away. Seems like a great team and lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

interesting sales pitch, really pushed to invest my own money into leads rather than starting at a lower commission rate and working my way up until I decide to purchase my own or go the other way
- What do you want to invest?

Easy going interview with a hiring manager to go over interest and qualifications. Make sure to make a list of questions to ask. Ask about detailed commissions from all carriers so you understand how you’ll be paid.
- Why do you want to get into life insurance

Pretty simple and straightforward. The process is quick and you have the ability to start right away. They cover your materials to study for the state exam as well. I was happy with how my experience went.
