They'll have you take some weird IQ test that's pretty pointless. They should be able to glean enough information about my intelligence sufficiently from my resume, education, background, and a conversational interview. Took it, passed it, moved on. Whatever.
Next, I had to do some weird role play with some weirdo pretending we were in a customer support situation. Nailed it because I'm not a socially inept weirdo and I have more than enough experience play acting in my everyday corporate life. Whatever.
Wow, now I get the privilege of finally talking to a real engineering hiring manager. Surely this guy will be reasonable, right? Wrong. Yet another weirdo who wanted to keep harping on esoteric issues that largely are a matter of personal taste and programming style rather than focusing on raw fundamentals. Whatever.
They passed on me. Probably because I wasn't enough of a weirdo, but good luck to any weirdos out there. These are your people.

Question 1
They'll quiz you at some point to make sure you read their snippets that come from their weird training manual.
Experienced an odd moment in the interviewing process. On the first call, the recruiter told me they didn't know where the ATX office was. Then, later in the process, they said they knew where the office was, but couldn't tell me. Could only give a general location.
I found the location through a quick search but I've never had a company be cagey about where they're located. Just thought it was unusual! Tripped my spidey senses, to be sure.
