Recruiter called me after getting an application from me for a business information analyst. Asks what I'm looking for in general in a position, thought I'd be better suited to financial analysis although I explained I was looking to branch out from strictly finance. He says he'll keep a look out for positions. I get a call a few weeks later to come in for a 3 hour long interview with teams from finance, business information analytics, and data analytics. 2 people from each team amounted to me being interviewed by 6 people in total over 3 hours. One of the teams was interviewing me over skype. I was a bit putoff by the fact I did not have a particular job that I was interviewing for, as it made interview prep more difficult.
