Flex Living interview questions

Applied for Senior Product Engineer at Base360.ai (The Flex / Flex Living). Passed initial screening. Did not proceed after researching the company. Red flags that led to my decision: The application asked for my marital status, which is illegal under German anti-discrimination law (AGG) and GDPR. Any company posting roles across the EU should know this. The process is entirely automated up to the CTO round. No human interaction before being asked to commit 2+ hours of technical work. The email notifying me I advanced used aggressive urgency tactics: 3 days to book or your application closes, automatic disqualification if you reschedule after your slot starts. Base360.ai was incorporated August 2025. Less than a year old. The CTO appears to primarily work at a different company (Flex Living). 70% of Glassdoor reviews are negative. Engineering candidates consistently report completing substantial unpaid work and receiving generic automated rejections. Multiple candidates suspect their submissions were never reviewed. I would advise other candidates to screenshot the application form, read every review here, and think carefully before investing time.

The interview process raised concerns, featuring unusual requirements, unclear expectations, and oddly specific requests that felt intrusive, leaving a sense of discomfort and suspicion about the company’s intentions and professionalism.
