I had a phone interview for the Forbes location in Jersey City. It lasted 15 minutes and I did not get an offer. I applied to this job through LinkedIn because the position responsibilities sounded interesting and like a position I would be good at. After a few questions with the interviewer however, it was pretty apparent that I was not the ideal candidate they were looking for. The interviewer was pleasant to talk to and I still keep my eye out for other positions at Forbes.

Unless you are a brilliant journalism major you must know someone to get a foot in the door.
The interview process is pretty painless. It is just a phone interview and an in person interview. They ask mostly behavior questions i.e.- tell me about a time when you had to work in a team, what role did you take and how did you complete the task you were set.

They didn't get back to me about whether I got it for quite a while, had to pester them a bit.
