    Application

I interviewed at Fort Sill National Bank in December 2014.

    Interview

I downloaded an application form from the bank's website and mailed in a printed copy. About 2 weeks later I received a phone call to schedule an interview. The interview was very straightforward. At first, the branch manager walked through the pay, schedule and benefits and confirmed that I was still interested in the position given the information provided. I was asked a few basic interview question (tell us about yourself, what makes you most qualified, how well can you type, are you more of a people person or a numbers person, etc.). I was asked to play out a scenario in a retail situation selling a specific product to a customer who came to the store. (Note: I answered "no to "Did you get an offer?" below as I have not received one, however, I was moved to the next step which is a background check.)

I got a call a few days after i sent in my resume. The recruiter was very nice.
Everything changed when I went into the room for the interview. I went in the interview confident but left feeling drained.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked so many questions i felt as though I was taking a big exam. The Manager and the floor manager interviewed me and was just spitting out questions and writing my responses. They did not ask me any probing questions. I was dying for the interview to be over. My floor manager was chewing very loud and made me uncomfortable.   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

After the interview I just felt that I would not really enjoy working there. My head hurt so much.. I went to bed as soon as I got home.
