I applied online. I interviewed at Forward in Jun 2020
Interview
I first did a 1 hour technical phone screen, in which I was asked a typical Leetcode question involving picking a random item from a set of weighted items, with the probability of an item picked proportional to its weight.
I passed that round and then went on to their virtual onsite, which consisted of 3 technical rounds and one behavioral round. 2 of the technical questions asked were extremely company specific. My first interviewer had issues with his wifi and disconnected from the interview for around 10 minutes. My second interviewer was twenty minutes late, and wasn't even the same person I was scheduled to have the interview with. In addition, he kept on getting slack notifications in the beginning of the interview which was pretty distracting. The behavioral interview asked me what about my interests in healthcare were, and talked nonstop about the mission of the company. My final technical interview consisted of designing google docs.
Based on how disorganized their interview process was and the other negative reviews on Glassdoor about their interview process, it seems like I dodged a bullet!

Question 1
Extremely company specific question involving Javascript promises. It literally seems like they pulled this question off their JIRA board. If you don't understand Javascript promises and the asynchronous nature of the language you're pretty much screwed.
A doctor and a patient are talking, with a screen displayed. As a medical scribe, your job is to display relevant cards about the conversation on the screen. How would you design the application?
