Interview
I applied online. About two weeks later, I was called in for an interview. I was excited because I had two friends who were in the same boat as me (getting their first job) and had no problem getting hired. It was a group interview, and I was the only interviewee that had dressed up and brought a resume. The other two were 40-something men in jeans. We all had to advertise a product to the hiring manager, and I pretty much commandeered the whole thing. I felt that I did amazing at the interview and I proved to be very competent. However, two days later I got the blanket email telling me that I didn't get the job.
It was a really positive experience and informative. The hiring manager was organized and professional. The interview was about 20 minutes virtually with the option for in person. They seemed amenable to working through individual needs.
It was what I expected. They were very helpful and friendly. They explained what I would be doing on the job and we went over the amount of hours I could work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked "What would you do if a co-worker was stealing money?'
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fred Meyer (Portland, OR) in Jun 2024
Interview
Face to face, minimal questions about my experience and history. It was very easy I would recommend them to anyone. Sometimes I've gotten difficult interviews from them. They wanted to know my reference history also.
