Question 1
What kind of financial models have you worked with before?
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fuelfinance (Berlin) in Nov 2022
Interview
I was contacted by email without applying and asked if I'm interested in this position. After that there was a 30 min video call where we discussed the position and my background. Next, I was asked to complete the task of analyzing financial statements of a startup. Financial statements that they provided were full of vague terms, spelling errors and un-explained abbreviations. I asked them to clarify some of them, but they refused. As a result, I lost interest in this position.
The process is relaxed. It consists of 2 stages - an interview with the hiring manager and founder. The hiring manager tends to find out about your teamwork skills and personal qualities, while the founder looks at the professional qualities/skills.
