I applied online. I interviewed at Fund for the Public Interest (Washington, DC)
Interview
Screening Call: Screening call to explain mission and get a better understanding of your experience.
First interview: Very brief and casual. Interviews are batched (multiple people), but the interviews themselves are individual. Was offered a position in interview.
Second interviews: Must prove script ("rap") memorization, some orientation, then paid observation day/shadowing.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Fund for the Public Interest (San Marcos, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Formal, we went into breakout rooms after. They explained what the job was. Multiple people from all over the U.S. were on a Google Meet. Could be a good opportunity.
I interviewed at Fund for the Public Interest (Boston, MA)
Interview
Very well structured. Two step-process, one initial interview and then one second interview where you must demonstrate that you have learned the rap and observe a canvasser before going out for an hour alone with the aim to get a donation.
