I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Greenville, SC) in Mar 2012
Interview
Outside of the phone interview, I met face-to-face for my first and only interview. Was notified timely of my acceptance soon afterwards.
Many of the questions in the interview were behaviorally based, with a focus on their core values. I suggest answering their questions specifically as asked so that they are satisfied. For instance, if they ask you to "Tell them about a time..." or to "Provide an example...", be sure to give an example from your past. Speaking in hypotheticals will not help them gather evidence or make a decision.
