It was an intriguing personality test in the screening process. When applying online they say you will proceed to an evaluation and it is a 30 min or so process. It is strengthsfinder like so look that up.
I found it intriguing and continued. I received an email to schedule a call and did another 45 min version of the same thing on the phone. Then again proceeded to another 30 mins version a few days after that. All of this is to help determine a personality type for the job and imagine the group dynamic of co-workers.
The questions ask about specific times you have done something... and then ask you to detail that process. As well as, "How friendly are you? 1-5" and such.
They do this in their business, so it is good to see a company practicing what they preach.
After the calls I was told that the recorded calls and resume would be forwarded to the hiring manager and they would decide if they would want me to come in. I received an email saying they didn't think I was right for their position.
It's funny to see comments here about an interviewer being "Robotic". They have to be to properly gather the data. And they did explain the process before starting, and so there is a time investment, especially if you find out they don't want to meet with you. At the very least it is an introspective look at things.
I asked if I would be getting a summary or personality type determination, but they don't give that out. It would be nice to get a summary after spending the time.
My screener was very nice and explained the process, so it's clear that this is a different approach. And people shouldn't be surprised if they do their homework here.
It was helpful to read things here and hopefully this helps others in their journey.
