I applied online. I interviewed at Gantec Publishing Solutions
Interview
I applied online to a job ad on LinkedIn. I then received a very sketchy, typo-ridden email to schedule an interview. It promised $30/hour which was also suspect. They wanted me to conduct an interview through the Telegram app (which was also referred to as Telegarm, so many typos). Since other reviewers on here said it was likely a scam I did not conduct the interview and flagged the job ad on LinkedIn.
What was even sketchier was I got another email about a proofreading job the same day from another company who I had not applied to and it had a lot of similar wording. I am now worried that I am going to be getting spam emails from this job ad. AVOID EVEN SENDING THEM YOUR INFORMATION.
We are sad to say that our company has recently fallen victim to a hacker posting false job opportunities, specifically a Proofreader position, and is misrepresenting Gantec Publishing Solutions. If you have been contacted and directed to any instant messaging applications such as Telegram or WhatsApp, immediately stop all communication. Do not give this person any other information. Also, note that Gantec Publishing Solutions will never provide a final offer letter without an in-office interview.
Here’s an example of how the hacker is using our emails to create the scam.

Interview
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! For all of you wondering if this might be a scam because of how sketchy the interview process is - THIS IS A SCAM. They are data mining resumes and trying to steal people's identity.
As the other poster stated, they tell you about $30/hr pay scale and set you up on the Telegram platform. The interviewer is obviously trying to run multiple interviews at the same time as yours. The interviewer does not actually engage with you, just sends you a list of questions including what bank you use. They claim it is because they need to verify that their bank can work with your bank. Once you finish the interview questions, they tell you that you need to report back to learn about if you got the job. When you report back, they tell you that you need to remain available so they can update you shortly. AFTER TWO HOURS I told them that they can call me if they are truly interested in working with me. They try to call through the Telegram platform. I tell them I will only accept calls on my cell, as they should have my phone number via the resume. They say OK and no call. Shocking. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION! THIS IS A SCAM!
