I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Stamford, CT) in Apr 2024
Interview
Two rounds of interviews over the phone with in house recruiters. Several questions about marketing background as well as what I knew about Gartner and what they do. It was a pretty quick interview process, lasting nearly a week and a half. But at the end, the recruiter became unresponsive and finally responded after two weeks.
Four rounds of interviews, including a panel and an assignment. Pretty easy overall. Having to do an assignment for something you most likely won't get is a little meh. Hiring manager was nice though.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
Disorganized and unclear. As an internal candidate, I was given one 5 minute call with a recruiter / HR in which they told me the role had been filled already, despite being listed internally only days before. I believe next step would have been interview with hiring manager.
The interview process moved very quickly. Spoke to a recruiter, then another recruiter then to the hiring manager. The hiring manager was nice, but didn't seem very interested from the outset.
