I applied through Indeed. They reached out quickly through email for me to answer some questions before scheduling an interview online. The interview started fine, with them asking about what PCR was and the purpose/process of PCR. Then, they asked some problem-solving questions on making stock solutions and some 'brain teasers'. Towards the middle, the interviewer asked some completely unnecessary and really private questions, like asking about my relationship with my parents and whether I had any pets. I also stated a lot of the answers to my questions in the email, but they wanted to hear me say it during the interview. When I asked them questions about company culture/atmosphere and what a typical day looks like for someone in my position, they answered in a really rude and confrontational way. When I tried to rephrase the question, the interviewer kept on dodging the question and not answering it directly. I felt as if the interviewer was looking down on me the whole interview.
