I was initially contacted by a recruiter, which led to a one-hour interview with the hiring manager and team. The interview primarily focused on behavioral questions. Afterward, I was asked to complete a coding challenge that involved automating at least six test cases on a provided website using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript. Following the challenge, I had a 1.5-hour session to review and discuss my work with them.
Despite dedicating significant time to the interview process and thoroughly answering all their questions, I was ultimately not offered the position. This outcome was quite disappointing, as I felt confident about joining the team after the interviews. The experience left me unsure of what qualities or skills they are truly seeking in a candidate. Overall, it felt like a waste of time.
