I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Cork) in Sep 2018
Interview
Slow!
Too many rounds but it was two slightly different positions.
6 rounds in total including a phone interview.
All on-site at times that suited me.
Some good interviewers though to be fair.
Faster decisions recommended.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences
Interview
Received an email within 2 weeks of applying for a phone screen. Recruiter failed to call me at set phone screen time. This happened 4 more times. After that I gave up. Very unprofessional.

Question 1
Never even got a chance to speak to the recruiter.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA) in Jul 2010
Interview
I searched online for a recruiter at the company and found one that I sent an email to to express my interest in the position I had applied to. After two emails to the wrong recruiter, I later was contacted by phone by their Finance and Accounting recruiter to discuss my background and schedule the first round interview. In the first round, I was interviewed by the Senior Manager and a Senior Accountant who I would be working with. Even though I didn't prepare well enough, I was chosen for the second round. In the second round, I interviewed with the Assistant Controller, Treasury Analyst, SEC Reporting Manager, Recruiter and a Financial Analyst. From speaking with the employees, the Company seems very lean meaning they get straight down to business without too much bureaucracy. The interviewers in the both rounds seemed very nice and knowledgeable, but in the second round most interviewers with the exception of the fairly new financial analyst seemed very serious, which displays their lean structure and straight to business attitude and work culture. Also, they do have nice offices all alongside each other one one street in Foster City. I do believe Gilead would be a great company to work with and the staff do seem very knowledgeable so they would be great coaches.
