The phone screening was one of the best I've had. In addition to feeling like they really were listening to my work history they provided a very clear picture of the role and what it's like to work for Glassdoor. I walked away from the screening with a solid understanding of the company culture and values. Their handling of everything was casual but professional and it put me at ease allowing me to be more myself throughout the process.
After that I had a one on one phone interview with management. All of their questions made it clear they know what they are looking for and they are comfortable with you knowing what that is. It didn't feel like anyone was trying to trick anyone or trip anyone up. Everything was straightforward and if there were certain parts of your answer that aligned with their goals and initiatives they made it known which was really helpful.
Throughout it all the talent acquisition partner I was working with was so unbelievably helpful and communicative, making sure to know she was there for me every step of the way.
Finally there was a 2 hour in person where I met with four individuals for about 30 minutes each . Everyone's questions had a theme, for example one person might be trying to see your technical skills while another is gauging your critical thinking. The team dynamic shone through and everyone's questions were very well chosen. There was a little overlap but not much. Yet again there was the perfect blend of calm and casual while being very professional. They made what was expected in the role very clear but also didn't hesitate to share where they felt it will be going. Everyone was so honest, genuine and passionate.
Everyone through every phase was incredibly kind and warm. They answered my questions with such thoughtfulness and detail in a way I have not really experienced. You could tell everyone truly loves working with each other and for the company which was very refreshing.
All in all the interview process was phenomenal. They really do try to eliminate what can be a song and dance routine filled with ambiguities and instead get down to business while making you feel at ease. They want to make sure they are a good fit for you just as much as you are for them.
