      Recruiting Coordinator Interview

      Apr 12, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Glassdoor

      Interview

Really enjoyed my conversation during the screening and the interview. The hiring manager told me that I would be a really good fit for her team and set expectations that I should be receiving an email the next day to schedule the final round. After two weeks of following up about this, I just received a email from the recruiter who has been out for a week that the team has moved on with an internal candidate. If a recruiter is OOO, is it too much to ask someone to jump in to support? Talk about being a company that prides itself about being “transparent”. You set such high expectations for candidates yet to low ball them. FYI, candidates are human too.

      Recruiting Coordinator Interview

      Feb 5, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Had a phone screen with a recruiter. She started off with, "so tell me about yourself, are you working right now?" I was shocked. I knew it would be a bad interview. She had no clue about my past, not even a brief skim of my resume. She asked me one question, then spent the rest of the time asking me about my work authorization in the U.S and how I found the job posting. Terrible. She was unprepared and standoffish. She was honest and said they're looking for someone with specific experience. If she even LOOKED at my resume before scheduling a phone call, she would have known off the bat not to call me. Instead, she came to a phone screening unprepared and wasted my time.

      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017

      Interview

I interviewed for Glassdoor and the entire process moved very quickly and I felt like I had a transparent candidate experience. I met on site with the team and after my interview they gave me a tour of the company which really sold me on working there.
