      Financial Analyst Interview

      Aug 26, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Feb 2015

      Interview

A series of phone interviews, first with the recruiter then with staff. I think the recruiters here are phenomenal- very organized, friendly, and so great at keeping potential hires updated throughout the process. I wish I could say the same for the staff- I was very disappointed in the on-site..felt the staff had not prepared, and I was asked some "scenario, case study" questions I felt they made up on the spot. They were rambling, incoherent tangents and I was instantly uncomfortable with this line of questioning. Maybe I was not qualified, but I left feeling very unhappy and disappointed I'd taken the time to drive all the way to their office, as I assumed an in-office would be a sign that I was a serious candidate. Didn't receive an offer, but wouldn't have accepted it as I definitely did not click with a few people there. Would be a great opportunity for someone else, however.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Muddled scenario-type questions, "what would you do if...wait no...ok what if this happened..."
