I'm a Senior 3D Environment Artist for games, with 8 years of experience and multiple games shipped.
Back in January, a Globant recruiter reached out to me for an upcoming game project. I did several rounds of interviews including a tech review with someone and then, the recruiter ghosted me - stopped responding without any feedback whatsoever even after repeated contact.
Very well - A couple weeks ago, Same recruiter reached out again, this time with a job offer. I rejected the offer at first because it was much lower than standard, also I am a Senior but the offer was for a mid... After talks, I accepted his offer, got his confirmation through e-mail and linkedin - but since then he vanished again. No answer anymore, and it has been several weeks. Making a job offer to someone that was laid off, and then ghosting them is incredibly rude and disrespectful, also a little bit illegal where I live and I am presently studying the possibility of litigation against Globant and/or the recruiter due to this. I wanted to bring it to your attention, as I don't think having someone treating candidates like that is acceptable.
