I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong) in Jan 2009
Interview
So a VP called in around 11pm, and we did a 40 min interview, first of all, we went through resumes, and he asked me about my previous work. Since i have only worked for a summer, therefore I did not have a whole picture to the case, so some of the questions he asked, I was not able to answer.. so i failed

Preference of software/quant was asked in the test. In the test there is a behavioural section, if you answer that properly you will get an interview.
There was a panel of 3-4 members in the software team, usually you got your interview in 2 panels (for two rounds of the same difficulty)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask basic arrays, and linked list questions in DSA. Other than that they discussed my projects, there was not really much else in the interview for both the rounds. If you have a good introduction about yourself prepared, are knowledgeable about your projects and know basic DSA, you can get hired.
Great interview process, super nice people. Come prepped with typical IB questions and answers. Get to the super is easy, super day is tuff. So be easy on yourself is my bigggest takeaway XD
