Interview
This was a new position for the company. At the time, I was only available part time. After meeting with their director, we discussed what might be needed in the position and realized that I was not the right person, mostly, but they needed someone full time. It was a very nice working environment.
They provided the recruiter no feedback except that there were already multiple people on their team that had the same name as me. They also did not provide the recruiter with feedback for nearly two weeks.

Interview
The first interview was informative, professional and very straightforward with with a recruiter. I was then invited to conduct two more interviews, one with the HR Director and then a panel interview. The interview with the HR Director went very well, and was very conversation and warm. The panel interview, however, was far from pleasant. It was with the HR manager, a generalist and they also had the HR assistant as a “spectator”. As the interview was conducted via Zoom, the HR manager immediately made a comment about everything feeling “cold” and “distant” and throughout the entire interview, both her and the generalist displayed rather annoyed expressions while asking their behavioral questions which made me feel very awkward and out of place. After the interview, I felt quite uncomfortable. I was later contacted by the HR Director who was interested in setting up another meeting to discuss a recruiter opportunity that we had briefly touched on during our interview. While the HR Director was extremely warm and professional, due to the negative experience I had with the panel interview, I had no interest in a follow up meeting with the Manager or Generalist and respectfully declined.
