      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grainger (Southhaven, MS) in Aug 2013

      Interview

I had two panel type interviews on different visits. Then, I was asked to spend a 1/2 day with the houlry crew on the floor and yet another meeting to share my experience. Finally, I was asked to come back again to meet another operations manager who spent a lot of time talking about his experience at Grainger. The panel interviewers were professional and made me feel at home. The questions had to a lot to so with contributions you made in the past and how you handled difficult hourly employees.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Grainger in Sep 2017

      Interview

Contacted by the DC recruiter and we discussed the role. It was quickly clear that it was not a fit for me and she and I agreed to join each other's network and stay in touch. It was very refreshing to come to such a quick agreement and not go through a long drawn out Q and A that wouldn't benefit either of us. I look forward to working with her again.
