Interview
Interview was informal and lacked professionalism. Interviewed 1 on 1 with a claims manager via zoom. Manager seemed disinterested and either did not want to be conducting the interview or they had already chosen a candidate for the position.
Manager advised the interview would be conducted via the STAR format but did not explain what the STAR format was. Luckily, I was familiar with this interview format in the past from prior roles however I feel that it should have been explained.
It was explained that the claim load was 8-10 new claims per day. Maybe I lost interest after hearing the excessive claim load or maybe the manager was burnt out herself.
Overall, it was not a positive experience. I was not offered a position however I would not have accepted one if offered.
