I was contacted and did my first interview with Zoom. Everything went well, and I was told to fill out the candidate summary that would be sent to me after the call. She wanted me to interview with someone in the office of the position I was applying for. I never received the summary by email until the next week. I was told she had forgotten, and she emailed me to fill it out and told me the person she wanted me to interview with was out for a week, and she would schedule an interview when they returned. I emailed it to her the next day. The next week, I received an email stating they were just going to use a temp instead. The interesting thing is, this job is still posted on glassdoor and the website. I was actively interviewing, so my issue was not about getting the job, it was 3 weeks of being lead on and lied to. If you do not want to move forward with a candidate because you may not want to pay them what they are asking due to their experience, or you may not think they are the right fit, just tell the candidate you are moving forward to these other candidates. I actually had a great interview, and I was told I was moving forward, and that was not the case. This company does not move with integrity.
