I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2011
Interview
I submitted my information online during November and was contacted in December right before the holidays regarding an available position. Played phone tag for a week before a brief phone interview occurred after which I was invited in to interview in person. I want to the interview, was given a brief tour of the office (which is large with good energy) before sitting down to interview. I walked the manager through my resume and we spoke about my experience and the direction of the company. It was a pretty standard interview though I felt rather distracted by the manager's speech pattern. The interview lasted about half an hour. I was contacted by email several days later letting me know they were going in another direction.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Groupon in Aug 2024
Interview
Smooth interview process, great experience. Completing all the rounds in one day made it very efficient. Had 2 in-person rounds and then a final round in the end. The response time was also very high.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Groupon (Singapore) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview process consisted of one phone screening, followed up by meetings with 2 recruiters, my boss and the business I would be supporting. Overall I found it to be a smooth process that was thorough, yet quick and efficient. From start to finish the process took about 2 weeks from the time of my first interview to when I received an offer. It was definitely a challenging interview, but it was a great way for Groupon to interview me, and also for me to get to know the company / colleagues I'd be working with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many practical questions around how I would handle specific situations in the proposed role, and also around my past experience.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon in Aug 2013
Interview
applied through college career program. Ran 4 consecutive 1:1 30 min interview with 4 members of the team. Heard back from recruiting coordinator in about 2 weeks. The Interview process was pretty relaxed. Rather than asking numbers of questions, the interviewers tried hard to turn this interview into a conversation. After a certain sets of behavioral questions and resume overview, the sessions soon turned into conversations.

Question 1
The hardest and the most important part of each interview was when the interviewers asked for any questions that I had about Groupon. I felt that this is the chance for me to demonstrate my interest in the duties and capacity to handle assigned work, as well as prove my communication abilities.
