I interviewed for two jobs on the first round of phone calls, one more related to R&D, the other more related to design. The phone interview took about 45 minutes with 3 interviewers on the other end. They described the jobs, the company, and tried to gauge my experience with specific software and tasks.
One month later, I got a job offer from another company, and I asked HII HR for an update. They set up a second phone interview with one of the original interview members, who had forgotten that we had previously spoken. Therefore, the second phone interview was limited in utility as she just rehashed already-explained topics.
I received an offer later that day, but I declined.
