I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HUB International in May 2022
Interview
The interview was informal and more of a conversation which the potential boss conducted. They spoke of how they run their team, their history with the company and in their career, and about the opportunities that could be taken advantage of after hiring (eg. work travel and events). I was asked about my current role but more focus was centered on me as a person (eg. hobbies, pets, career goals, ect.) which was very refreshing. After hearing about how they run their team and the benefits of working for HUB I was very sold on joining and hoped for an offer. I rated the interview difficulty as average only because it wasn't a traditional, formal interview but instead a conversation that some would might find more difficult.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HUB International in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process at Hub was exceptionally well-structured and efficient. I particularly appreciated the insightful initial conversation with the recruiter, which not only provided valuable information about the company and role but also offered helpful guidance for my interview with the hiring manager. That second interview was equally thorough, allowing me to gain a clear understanding of the ideal candidate profile and providing ample opportunity to have my questions answered. The feedback received after each stage was also constructive and greatly appreciated. Overall, the process left me with a very positive impression of Hub.
