Screening interview, presentation, CEO interview at times I felt disconnected and had to follow up with various people just to get an update. No feedback after rejection, as to be expected. I questioned the objectivity of the interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hallow (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
Standard resume submission and a couple culture questions. Second round was a QA mockup project. Fairly straightforward task of creating a test plan for choice of a couple features. I probably took longer than required and it wasn’t what they were looking for.
I was very excited to interview for Hallow, but unfortunately found this process to be frustrating and disorganized. Despite me sending follow-up emails throughout this process, I experienced missed interview links, late delivery of a take-home project, and interviewers changing at the last minute. This process also included a lengthy take-home project, however, in my subsequent interview, I was not asked one question about it, which felt disrespectful to the time and effort I had put into it.
