Theoretically the process seems to be organised perfectly. Practically speaking is a disaster.
After sending your cv you need to record a pre recorded interview. After few weeks I receive an email telling me I did not pass the video interview. I was honestly surprised as I thought I performed quite well so I ask if there was any feedback. The HR answered me that I actually passed the video interview and there was a mistake in the communication. This means that if I didn’t ask for feedback they would have never noticed the mistake, it is a bit unbelievable from a company such as Hilti. Next round is a discussion of a business case together with Hr and an employee from the company. I found a business case that was not actually a business case. Per definition a business case has not a single and unique solution however as soon as I started to talk the employee said that he did not agree with me and he looked a me very weirdly, I would say in a unrespectful way. Considering what I read online I would totally say that the fact that Hilti is a great place to work is only a communication strategy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hilti Group (Schaan) in Apr 2026
Interview
Talent Acquisition team is very professional and friendly. It started with an interview with HR, then there is a Business Case interview, and if you pass this individual Case interview there is an Assessment in Schaan.
Starts with a hire view, then meeting with HR who is very helpful and gives constructive feedback. Then business case with a more technical manager and haven't gotten further yet.
Interviewers are super professional and friendly, and the whole process is transparent you would receive constructive feedback from your interviewers. The whole process is pretty efficient compared to other firms.

Why Hilti? Why this program? Where do you see yourself in 5-10years time?
