First, the online application; second, one-way video recorded interview; third, a positive call from a corporate recruiter; fourth, face-to-face interview with the on-property HR; fifth, same-day personal interview with department director; sixth, positive phone call from corporate and set up for training.
Tips: Confidence is key. Go in like you own the place, like Santa on Christmas. Practice all the hardest interview questions that make you uncomfortable and think of quick, witty answers with extra talking points added (in case the interviewer is a quiet person). And think of questions for that dreaded ending phase of the interview, when they ask you "Do you have any questions for me?" Create questions that lead somewhere, like "Why", "How" and "What Kind Of..." instead of Who, What, Where (that usually end in a Yes, No, or short answer; although those can be useful to round off the end of the questioning phase of the interview.) Just know that you may be the best candidate that they have, even if they are trying to play bluff with you, and don't let their blank un-smiling stare deter you from being the sunshine in their world!
