    I worked at Hilton full-time

    Pros

Great team environment and opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

If not working for a corporate owned or managed property, you will be subject to owners that may not invest in the property in a way that would help the guest and employee experience.

Employee benefits are great. Great hotel discount. Free lunch @ work. Coworkers are great and management is very approachable. There's always opportunities for career development within the company and the ability to transfer to other Hiltons is awesome.

I have been working at Hilton full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've been with Hilton now almost 4 years and I can say without a doubt I have never had a team or managers that care so much about me and my family life outside of work. I have never had an issue with needing to take time off or work remote out of the blue. The trust is there and you can feel it. They are huge on self-initiative and LOVE innovative ideas. You got something to share? Bring it. It doesn't always mean they will use it but I have never felt belittled or ridiculed for coming up with another solution of how to complete a task.

    Cons

It's really hard to get promoted. Employees have been here 10+ years so when an opportunity rises, of course the more tenured ones are going to get it! Catch 20-20, right? That goes to show you how well they treat everyone -- no one ever wants to leave!
