I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (South Bend, IN) in Mar 2017
Interview
Several phone interviews (HR, general engineer, engineering manager), plus an on site interview and plant tour. Met with the people who would be your supervisors if you were hired full time, answered pretty standard interview questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe why you think that you would be a good fit for Honeywell.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Honeywell (Clearwater, FL) in May 2019
Interview
It was a digital/text interview. Questions were easy and did not involve anything technical, just a little background information. You were allowed to answer at your own convenience. Most of this is conducted with a "virtual assistant"
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (East Lansing, MI) in Jan 2017
Interview
Very different than the standard behavioral interview. Dealt more with thought process and reasoning and found that to be much more pleasant. Very laid back while still being concise. One on One setting where I didn't feel forced into a specific direction and was able to come to my own conclusions.
