I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Honeywell (Clearwater, FL) in Jul 2011
Interview
Honeywell hires through contract companies first. It was very fast for me. A phone call from a recruiter. Phone interview with the recruiter on the spot. No technical quiz. Start date given. Electronic information and typical company required forms filled out. Background check and drug screening. Then you start on the start date given at a certain building. They walk you in and get you setup for your badge and assign you a group to work in. The rest is typical company HR training and skill training depending on the area assigned. It can be very disorganized. Be prepared to take the lead on your own and get what needs to be done by constantly contacting whoever you need through the process.
