Interview
The experience was more or less what was talked about in these reviews. You're given a screening process where you're given an array of data through a API and asked to post that data back to another API route sliced up and restructured. After you pass that there's a final interview with 4 rounds. 3 rounds are technical interviews. 1 system design question and 2 programming questions. The last interview is a behavioral interview with the hiring manager. Anyways I received pretty much good feedback across the board according to the recruiter, but I wasn't perfect in the systems design portion. But here's the kicker. They asked me about component design, not a full system design. And then they rejected me because I wasn't strong enough in something they didn't even ask me about. They even mentioned how I didn't mention i18n during the component design portion... I didn't mention it because that's part of a whole application design not a single component... They straight up asked me how I would design this single component they showed me. I don't know what they wanted from me. The recruiter told me that they haven't seen someone get such good feedback like that and not receive an offer. I was told that a position with another team could be found in a week or two, but I already had a few offers on the table so I went with one of those. So be wary with this interview process. Might turn into a waste of time like it was for me.

Interview
Single exam no human interaction. The exam was like a college test, something completely unrelated to modern field work. Seemed a bit off base. Definitely didnt seem like a realistic approach to finding real humans to fit for a company.
